01What cookies are
Cookies are small values a website can ask a browser to store and send with later requests. Browser storage, server database records and hosting logs are different mechanisms; not all information processing involves a cookie.
02Current application behavior
The current application does not set cookies for accounts, advertising, analytics or calculator preferences. It does not embed advertising networks, third-party analytics scripts or social tracking pixels. Calculator inputs are kept in the current page's browser state, rather than being saved as a persistent profile.
Fonts and flag images are served by the website. A link to an external source is not an embedded tracking widget; the destination's own cookie rules apply after you visit it.
03Infrastructure is separate
Deployment or security providers can have their own technical behavior, independent of the application code. This application-level policy is not a claim that every hosting environment or third-party destination is cookie-free. Please report an unexpected cookie with its name and the page where it appeared, without sending the cookie value.
04Cookie and tracking rules around the world
EEA and UK rules can require consent for non-essential storage or access on a device, subject to applicable exceptions. US state laws may provide choices concerning certain sales, sharing or targeted advertising when those laws apply. Requirements elsewhere, including India, depend on applicable local rules and the actual processing.
A cookie banner alone is not evidence of compliance. Conversely, the absence of application-set advertising cookies does not prove there is no processing of technical information. The current code has no targeted-advertising or optional-analytics feature; future additions require assessment before launch.
05Browser privacy signals and settings
Browsers may expose Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals. The current application has no dedicated preference system for those signals and does not claim to implement a universal opt-out mechanism. Where a signal creates an applicable legal obligation, the deployment and any future tracking integrations must be assessed accordingly.
To investigate browser storage, open your browser’s site-information or developer-tools storage panel. Record only the cookie name, domain and purpose if known when contacting us; never share session values or security tokens.
06Your browser controls
You can inspect, block or delete cookies through your browser's privacy settings. Clearing cookies does not delete database records or server logs. See the Privacy Policy for API submissions and technical information. The current calculators do not require advertising cookies to work.
07Future changes and contact
The current application has no optional tracking categories to enable through a consent banner. If optional tracking is introduced, this policy and any required consent controls must be updated before it is enabled. Contact [email protected] for cookie questions.
Common questions about cookie policy
Why is there no cookie accept button?
The current app has no optional tracking categories to turn on. Adding an unnecessary consent button would not improve privacy. Future tracking requires a new review of applicable disclosures and consent controls.
Does clearing cookies erase API records?
No. Browser cookies, page state, database records and server logs are separate. For questions about server-side information, use the privacy contact rather than assuming a browser action deletes it.
Can an external source set its own cookies?
Yes. When you leave this website, the destination may have its own storage and tracking practices. Review that website’s policy and browser controls separately.
